Contact Our Purdue Global Placement Team

Tell us where you are in your Purdue Global MSN journey and we will tell you exactly what your placement looks like and how fast we can move. We work over chat and messaging rather than phone, so you have everything in writing. Pick whichever channel is easiest for you below.

How to reach us

We keep contact simple and text-based so nothing about your track, your sites, or your paperwork gets lost on a call. Three ways in:

  • Live chat, bottom-right of every page. A real placement advisor staffs it on a rotating schedule, so you are talking to a person who knows the Purdue Global process, not a bot loop.
  • WhatsApp or SMS, bottom-left of every page. Best if you want to message on your own time and keep the thread on your phone.
  • Placement-plan form, the fastest route to a real answer. Start it from find a preceptor or how it works, and we will map your track, hours, and timeline back to you.

We do not publish a phone number. Everything runs through chat, messaging, and the form, which keeps your details in one written thread you can scroll back through later.

When you will hear back

Live chat is staffed by a rotation of real placement advisors, not a single person and not a bot, so there is normally an actual human reading the window during working hours. If everyone is mid-conversation when you write in, your message holds in the thread and the next advisor on the rotation picks it up rather than dropping it, you do not have to repeat yourself or start over.

WhatsApp, SMS, and the placement-plan form do not need a live advsior at the keyboard, so you can send them at any hour. We reply during working hours, in your own thread, so the answer is waiting for you with all the detail in writing rather than spoken once and gone.

Because the rotation hands off, the conversation does not reset if you come back the next day. The whole history stays in one place, which matters when we are tracking which of your local sites we are checking and where each one stands.

What to put in your first message

The more you tell us up front, the faster we can confirm whether your local sites already hold a Purdue Global affiliation agreement or need a new one negotiated. Three things help most:

  • Your track, FNP, AGPCNP, PMHNP, or AGACNP, and whether it is the MSN or a post-master's certificate. This sets your required clinical hours, which we confirm against your current Purdue Global handbook and explain on the clinical hours page.
  • Your city and state, so we can source preceptors close to you instead of asking you to commute across the state.
  • Your start term, the affiliation agreement is the usual bottleneck, and starting early is the single biggest thing that keeps you on schedule. The clinical affiliation agreement page lays out the typical timelines.

Not sure of the details yet? Reach out anyway. We will walk you through the rest, and we can see what gets verified on the clinical compliance page once your placement is moving.

What a placement-plan reply contains

When we come back to you after the form or your first message, you get a written plan rather than a vague "we'll be in touch." A typical reply sets out, for your specific track and location:

  • Your hours target, the single clinical-hours figure that applies to your track, hedged as commonly published for the program and flagged to confirm against your current Purdue Global handbook, with a link to the full clinical hours breakdown.
  • Site read, which of your nearby clinics or systems likely already hold a Purdue Global affiliation agreement versus which would need a new one negotiated, since that is the step that takes longest.
  • A realistic timeline, when we think you could reasonably start, working back from your term, so you can see whether your plan has enough runway or needs to move up.
  • Next step, exactly what we need from you to begin sourcing, and what we handle from there.

Nothing in that reply is a commitment you have to make on the spot. It is there so you can decide with the full picture in front of you, in writing, before anything starts.

A note on who we are

We are an independent clinical-placement service for Purdue Global MSN nurse practitioner students. We are not Purdue University, Purdue Global, or the CCNE, and we are not endorsed by or affiliated with them. Purdue Global asks you to be the lead advocate for your own clinical sites and preceptors, supported by the University and your Clinical Student Manager. We do that advocacy with you: we source the preceptor and move the paperwork so the work does not fall entirely on you. If you want the full picture before you message us, the how it works page lays out each step end to end.

Questions

Good to know

Do you have a phone number I can call?

No. We work over live chat, WhatsApp, SMS, and the placement-plan form so your track, sites, and paperwork details stay in writing. It also means you are not stuck on hold, message us and we reply in the same thread.

Who answers the live chat, and how fast?

A rotation of real placement advisors, not an automated bot. There is normally a human reading the window during working hours; if everyone is mid-conversation your message holds in the thread and the next advisor picks it up, so nothing gets dropped. They know the Purdue Global MSN process, the four NP tracks, clinical hours, and the affiliation agreement timeline, so you get a useful answer.

What happens after I send the placement-plan form?

We come back to you over your preferred channel with a written plan: your track's hours target (hedged and to be confirmed against your current Purdue Global handbook), a read on which nearby sites likely already hold a Purdue Global affiliation agreement versus which would need a new one negotiated, a realistic timeline worked back from your start term, and the next step. None of it is a commitment you make on the spot.

Can I message you outside of working hours?

Yes. WhatsApp, SMS, and the placement-plan form do not need an advisor at the keyboard, so you can send them any time and we reply during working hours in your own thread. Live chat is staffed on a rotating schedule, so a person is typically there during working hours rather than around the clock.

Are you part of Purdue Global?

No. We are an independent service and are not Purdue University, Purdue Global, or the CCNE. Purdue Global asks students to lead the search for their own sites and preceptors with support from the University and a Clinical Student Manager; we do that legwork alongside you by sourcing the preceptor and handling the paperwork.
