Your privacy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you ask us to help find a clinical preceptor for your Purdue Global MSN nurse practitioner practicum, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are an independent clinical-placement service. We are not Purdue University, Purdue Global, or the CCNE, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. We collect only what we need to respond to you and to arrange a placement, we do not sell your information, and we share your details with a prospective site or preceptor only when it is necessary to set up your rotation and with your knowledge.

What we collect

We collect the information you give us when you fill out our form or message us in chat. That is typically a small set of details we need to understand your situation and find the right preceptor.

  • Your name so we know who we are working with.
  • Contact details you choose to share, such as an email address, a WhatsApp number, or a mobile number for SMS.
  • Your program track (FNP, AGPCNP, PMHNP, or AGACNP, including post-master's certificate students) so we look for an appropriately matched preceptor.
  • Your city or area so we can search for a local in-person practicum near you.
  • Your intended start term so we can begin early enough to clear the clinical affiliation agreement and compliance steps in time.
  • Anything else you tell us in your message, such as specialty interests, scheduling constraints, or notes about prior placement attempts.

We do not ask for sensitive records up front. Items like your background check and immunization clearance are handled directly between you, your site, and Purdue Global through your program's normal channels; we help coordinate timing, but those documents are not something we request or store as part of an inquiry.

How we use your information

We use what you share for two purposes: to respond to you, and to arrange a clinical placement.

Responding means answering your questions, explaining how the process works, and following up about next steps. Arranging a placement means using your track, location, and start term to source a preceptor and a site, and then to move the paperwork, including the clinical affiliation agreement between the site and Purdue Global.

We do not use your information for unrelated advertising, and we do not build profiles to sell. If you have questions about how a particular detail is used, ask us through our contact channels and we will explain.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. There is no data broker arrangement and no list we hand off for marketing.

The only sharing we do is the sharing that is necessary to do the job you asked us to do, described next.

When we share your details, and with whom

To set up a rotation, a prospective preceptor or clinical site needs to know who you are and what you are looking for. We share the minimum needed for that introduction, such as your name, your program track, your general location, and your target term, and we do so with your knowledge.

We tell you which site or preceptor we are approaching before we share your details for that purpose, so you are never introduced to a placement you have not heard about. We do not share your information with a site or preceptor who is not a relevant part of arranging your practicum.

Coordinating the affiliation agreement and onboarding may also mean exchanging your information with Purdue Global's clinical staff, such as your Clinical Student Manager, as part of getting the placement approved. Again, this is sharing in service of the placement you requested, not a transfer for any other use. To be clear, sharing information with Purdue Global to complete your paperwork does not make us part of Purdue Global; we remain an independent service.

How your messages are handled

Conversations you have with us by chat, WhatsApp, or SMS are carried over our communications platform, which processes and stores those messages so we can read them, reply, and keep track of your placement. Standard message and data rates from your own carrier may apply to texts you send or receive.

We keep inquiry and conversation records for as long as we are actively working with you and for a reasonable period afterward, so we can pick up where we left off if you return or if a placement question comes up later. When that information is no longer needed for those purposes, we remove it.

Accessing or deleting your information

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach us through the channels on our contact page, which are WhatsApp, SMS, and our form, and tell us what you would like done.

We will act on your request within a reasonable time. In some cases we may need to confirm your identity first so we are not handing your details to someone else, and we may keep limited records where we have a legitimate reason to, such as resolving a dispute. If you ask us to delete everything, we will, subject to those limits.

We are an independent service

Purdue Global asks students to be the lead advocate for identifying their own clinical sites and preceptors, supported by the University and a Clinical Student Manager. We do that advocacy work alongside you. We are an independent clinical-placement service and are not Purdue University, Purdue Global, or the CCNE, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking on behalf of any of them.

Because we are independent, this privacy policy covers only how we handle your information. Anything you submit directly to Purdue Global, to a clinical site, or to your program's clinical tracking system is governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

If we update how we handle your information, we will update this page. Continuing to work with us after a change means the current version applies. If you ever want the version that was in effect when you first contacted us, ask and we will tell you what it said.

Questions

Good to know

Do you sell my contact information to schools or recruiters?

No. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We use it only to respond to you and to arrange your clinical placement, and we share it with a prospective preceptor or site only when that introduction is necessary and with your knowledge.

Who sees the details I submit through the form or chat?

Our team sees them so we can help you. A prospective preceptor or clinical site sees the minimum needed to set up your rotation, and we tell you before we approach a specific site. Purdue Global's clinical staff may also receive your information as part of approving the placement and the affiliation agreement.

How can I get my information deleted?

Reach out through the WhatsApp, SMS, or form options on our contact page and tell us you want your information deleted. We will act within a reasonable time and may confirm your identity first. We may keep limited records where we have a legitimate reason, such as resolving a dispute.

Are you part of Purdue Global, so does Purdue Global control my data here?

No. We are an independent clinical-placement service and are not Purdue University, Purdue Global, or the CCNE. This policy covers only the information we handle. Information you submit directly to Purdue Global or to a clinical site is governed by their policies, not ours.

What happens to my text and chat messages?

Messages you send by chat, WhatsApp, or SMS are carried and stored on our communications platform so we can reply and track your placement. We keep them while we are working with you and for a reasonable period after, then remove them when they are no longer needed.
